Hi Gayle,

You're right -- children's books are especially appealing when there's something in it for the adults, like humor, insight, or poetry. But this one looks cute!

I reviewed this one last week. My younger kids (ages 3 and 6) liked the story and asked for it again (and again). Yes, it's always nice when there's something in it for the adults, though!

I really liked the illustrations. I haven't read anything else by Sally O. Lee, but she has written quite a few kids' books.
