What a thoroughly positive review! I definitely want to read this.

This sounds like a very thought provoking book!

Love this review! Congratulations, Susan, for the praise, and thank you "Everyday I Write the Book" for the attention. I'd like to change one word though: "no" to "little." New Rivers Press is a small, nonprofit press that has been in existence since 1968. We offer two $1000 prizes every year, one in prose and one in poetry. Barr-Toman's WLWCU won this Many Voices Project for prose and was published in 2009. It's true we have little marketing money, and we have to rely much on the energy and vivaciousness of individual authors. Fortunately, Susan Barr-Toman has high levels of both. Congratulations again, Susan! Suzzanne Kelley, managing editor, New Rivers Press

Thank you for publicizing a book I haven't heard about before. I love books that are from smaller presses.
